This is a familiar sound for anyone that has set foot on campus. Not particularly a challenging sound to capture but puts UWM in a nice nut shell. Lets listen in!

Cat Purring

You would not believe how difficult it is to capture this sound! To place the microphone far enough away to avoid the windy sound of breathing but close enough to get the purring sound, is a trick. I think have about 7-8 minutes of raw footage just trying to capture a solid segment. Want to enjoy it?

A Blasting Quarry & Cawing Crows

On the left blasts every few seconds can be heard and the cawing of a crow on the right. Recorded in my back yard where way too many crows can be seen. And, being that the quarry is near by, this is a familiar ambient sound, heard in my back yard.
